A one-of-a-kind handcrafted lampwork glass bead bracelet made with my own handmade glass beads, Royston stone, turquoise, and sterling silver.

Three organic lampwork beads form the heart of this piece. Each began with a bead the color of European roof tiles. Shards of pale pink blown glass applied over the surface while the bead was still glowing in the flame. The glass melts and settles in its own wonderfully unpredictable way, creating a beautifully organic, earthy pattern.

It’s one of those techniques where I never know exactly what the finished bead will look like—and those little surprises are what make my heart happy.

The glass beads are paired with sterling silver, natural turquoise nuggets, handmade sterling chain, and a beautiful piece of Royston stone. I set the Royston into a stamped fine-silver frame, giving it a rustic, handmade feel that complements the glass beautifully.

A .925 sterling silver locking hook brings everything securely together, while a sterling silver starfish charm and additional wired turquoise add movement and interest.

My raven maker’s mark and .925 hallmark are stamped on the back.

This is artisan jewelry made entirely by hand in my studio with no two pieces ever quite the same.

::ᴏꜰ ɪɴᴛᴇʀᴇꜱᴛ:: Royston turquoise is a distinctive type of turquoise mined near Tonopah, Nevada. It is celebrated for its vibrant colors, which can range from deep sky blue to dark green. A notable feature of Royston turquoise is its golden brown matrix, which adds to its visual appeal.

I've been creating jewelry for myself and others for more than a decade. Many hours of work go into one piece since most of the components including the glass beads and the silver work are created by myself.

With the creation of each glass bead and each forged clasp all of the jewelry begins in the flame of the torch. There is a lovely meditative energy here and I like to think that this magic must infuse the jewelry itself.

~Beads created in the fire of the torch and have been annealed in a kiln for strength and durability.

~Cleaned with diamond coated drill and paired with sterling silver findings, bone and natural stone.
