This statement link bracelet began with that beautiful Australian boulder opal. I fell in love with the depth and natural sheen and of course the beautiful organic colors of opals. I laid them out onto my workbench moving them around with some Abalone until I was happy with the placement. This simple process is intuitive and the beginning of all of my jewelry.
This particular type of opal is found predominantly in the outback of Queensland. The opal grows in cracks and cavities of the host rock, and because of this, cutters leave part of the natural ironstone backing attached, making each stone entirely one-of-a-kind.
Itβs this sort of wild link to Mother Earth that draws me in and the desire to incorporate that into something to be worn on the wrist ..something you can look at throughout the day and be reminded of the beauty around usβ¦appeals to me deeply.
This sea-inspired link bracelet includes cast starfish and koi fish. The double floral link and mixed metal charm have been designed and forged to add some movement and feminine energy.
All sterling and fine silver and tiny bit of bronze which is in that floral charm.
Each of these elements of light gather together to add some elusive faerie magic to your day.
This is adjustable from 7.25 through to 8.25" in length.

Abalone is popular in jewelry due to its vibrant, iridescent nacre, which displays a mesmerizing array of colors, including shades of blue, green, pink, and purple. Each piece of abalone shell is unique.
Abalone, also known as βsea opalβ or βmermaidβs treasure,β holds rich cultural significance across various civilizations. Revered by indigenous coastal communities, Abalone shell is believed to carry the energy of the ocean, offering protection and strength to those who wear it.
